Looking to buy a C Class Coupe

Hello I am new to this forum and new to the whole Mercedes scene so a big Hi from me

I am looking at buying a C class coupe diesel probably around a 2003/04 car and am hoping you may be able to guide me in my search.

First of all are there any common known issues with this model or anything I should pay particular attention to when going to view one? Is there anything I should avoid or a must have?

The must haves for me are black, diesel, and a panoramic roof. If you have one for sale or know of a nice one please let me know.

Try and get a 2004 model as by then the valeo radiator problem will not occur and also the body will be galvanised.

I think that the 270 diesel was around then but the 320 CDi wasn't available in this body until mid-2005.

As with all Mercedes, must haves are auto box and leather seats.

Have there been many revisions throughout they years or is it simply best to just go for a 2004 onwards...... not sure my 7-8k budget will stretch that far?

Just try and go for a "facelifted car".

Easier way to spot is the rev and speedo are the same size and not a large central speedo. It was a much improved car and really really worth spending the money getting one.
