I have a c180 from 1995, since I am a young boy (18) and live in Norway make your car look different isn't unusual but I lost most of my engine power and I have no idea why and now I have cleaned the air filter and changed the fuel filter so if there anyone that could give me any more ideas what to do without putting in a workshop I would really appreciate it
and another problem I have is that it can overheat on idle but not when I am driving.

Could be anything. Overheating when idling usually due to viscous fan failure or electric fan failure, depending which you have.

But anything is the problem for me since I don't know what to check or what I can do on my own so if you or anyone just could tell me maybe more specific parts to check maybe?

Is your fan electric? If so, does it start up when the motor gets hot? You can usually hear it start. If not electric, then it is probably a viscous fan. If you are not at all handy, take it to a garage and ask them to test it. It is a simple test that confirms the fan runs harder when hot. Once again, it usually makes more noise as the motor heats when motor revving a bit - 2-3000 is enough. There is a test called "the carrot test" which indicates if the fan's viscous centre is generating enough friction when hot. If it fails, the fan just runs at an idling speed and does not increase speed when required.

the mechanic said that the clutch on the fan is loosen or broken so I need to buy a new one

If you feel confident, clean the MAF (Mass Air Flow) sesnsor. You can find it in the pipe leading to the air filter housing.

Thank you so much for such clear photos.
Without the photo I would not have known that you have a K&N filter.
When you took the K&N filter off to clean it, what did you see inside the ribbed piped it is connected to..?
