Gents, I am not sure if there are any laws govenrning what I am about to do. These are by no means lab tests and the results may be totally untrue. They are from personnel experience only.
Car: 230E 123 223 1981 SA Manufacture.
KM at start: 237 000
KM at end: 270 000 99% motorway milage
Fuel used: unleaded
I have been running the car on three different Fuel Additives and monitoring my milage.
Using Castrol Valvemaster average km/l=9.2(no problems)
Using Redex Lead Replacement average km/l=9.6(minor difficulty starting a warm engine)
Using Castrol Valvemaster Plus average km/l=10.05(no problems)
The Castrol Valvemaster Plus is almost double the price of the other two, but seemed to perform the best. I did not like the Redex as, the squeeze bottle does not deliver as precise an amount as the Castrol bottles do.
