i think i might need one
had head gasket done after ol went into the water and that did not solve it
now they have changed the oil filter housing and they have told me that if it happens again it might well be a cracked cylinder head
so a few questions
1 - where do i get one
2 - how much do they roughly cost
3 - how do i know im getting one that is ok
4 - can mine be fixed?
as usuall thanks for any advice

For oil to get in to the cooling system, but not vice-versa, there must be a failure in the sealing between an oil pressure gallery and the cooling system. In my experience, this is rarely from the head gasket (but not impossible). There is only one oil pressure path through the head gasket, and the chances of this bit only failing are slim. A crack in the head or block is more likely. Oil/water intercooler is also a possible if your car has one. Do not just get your head gasket replaced unless it is positively identified as the culprit for this fault. A crack/pressure test of the head is vital. Just bolting back together without finding why will end in tears. I have been there.....
