I’ve had a really silly idea and I need someone to talk me out of it by telling me all the reasons it’s not going to work.

1) How hard would it be to get an M156 running in another vehicle? I.e to engine swap it.

2) how hard would it be to get an M156 running through a tremec t56?

It’s not impossible, but would require some very clever work and some good engineers and deep pockets.

it’s only silly if it’s not possible for you.

It woukd be hard, but as engines go it's straight forward, not direct injection, standard coil on plug etc. With standalone management like a haltech etc it should be do able.

It does depend what it's going into and if it has to talk nicely with other systems though
