Mahle make good pistons

But what exactly is the requirement? Define "high performance" in your context

well, im building up a M130 inline six from a 71' 280 S and i want to get as much power out of it as possible, so i figure that lightening the internals is a good way to start that. i don't want to turbocharge it, supercharging is not out of the question, id just like to keep it naturally aspirated. its going to be a street motor for the most part, but might take it around a track now and then. I want it to be reliable and not have to tear the engine down every time i run it like a full race motor...

If you want "as much power as possible" without forced induction you'll want to raise the compression ratio and rev it higher

The choice of pistons will be dictated by what CR you want, and how to plan to achieve it. The valve train will be dictated by what rev limit you plan to use

What's your budget?
