hi c220 51 plate ,changed the brake bulb as malfunction displayed 1 fault ,the display is still showing the error on the dash how do you erase this display?thanks.

This means that your brake pads have worn down to the limits, and the wear sensors have put the lamp on. You need to check if front or rear that are worn down

Or is the display a bulb out warning and you have replaced that and the warning still showing

It should go out automatically.
Have you visually confirmed the bulb is illuminating? If not check the continuity of the bulb with a meter.
