They are great, but I do not think that the public think as much of them as they do the Bentley, I had a look at a few in benzworld, and the do seem rather drab in my eyes

Best car in the world.

You can't get more (apparentley) British than a Bentley though.

Difficult for me to comprehend why anyone would want more than an S class -continually voted by motoring journalists (even by What Car) as the best saloon car in the world. But no doubt some do.

Hi Hawk,, this is rather different as Stumpy hires his cars out with a driver, it would be part of his fleet that he is building up

I agree that I can't see the point of the 57 as it is not much more spacious (if at all) than the LWB S. But the 62 is like Disneyland. You just need the right clients for it and they are definitely out there.

Then the only issue is will enough customers pay the price to make a good profit. If yes: buy it. If no: don't.

....and a really good driver who knows his or her stuff and can communicate (or not as the case may be) with the customer:cool: That is what sells the service not just the car - you could have a roller fitted with a spar and a bevvy of nubile wenches in attendance but if the driver is a real **** then hey....;);)

Let me know when you get the above and the Wenches and I will move house;);)

I know of a guy who has a 62 but has no clients for it. You need to have the clients and contacts for this sort of vehicle. A good driver and excellent customer service completes the picture. A great driver cannot carry it off in a sub-standard car, and at this level some of the clientele really are in another universe.

For what it is designed for this car has no rival and I am seriously impressed by it. If I do buy one at least I can get help here for it as it is all 220 technology which I must admit, does disappoint me somewhat.
