Dear Club Members,
I am currently studying Vehicle design at Coventry University. After 6 months industrial placement at the MB design studio in Sindelfingen Germany I have returned to England to complete my degree.
For my final project I have chosen to look at; The ways in which national characteristics will influence the German luxury brand Maybach.
As I?m sure you are aware there is to be a relaunch of Maybach, on both standard and long wheel base platforms. (My personal plan is for a coupe, lifestyle Maybach)
I would be extremely grateful to all those who would be willing to give my their PERSONAL opinion / perception on all or some of the following topic areas.
1.)Your perception of the band Maybach / words you might use to cunger up what the brand means to you. (both past & present)
2.)Maybach ?D.N.A.? how did the brand differentiate itself from other vehicles?
3.) With the relaunch should there be any amendments to the original Maybach philosophy so suite the economic and social changes that have occurred in Germany.
4.) Owner ? User markets, who did you believe it appealed too? What were they looking for? Should they broaden their appeal in the Future?
