As above really I don’t know how many members on here are running this engine beyond 80k miles but would be interested to know what problems they’ve encountered particularly premature camshaft and rocker wear and leaking oil/vacuum tandem pumps. The car in question is my son’s and he’s in a dilemma as to whether at 75k miles he should keep it for another couple of years (25k miles) or trade it in for a newer car, he really doesn’t want the hassle of major repairs as the car is essential to his job. I’d also add that he really likes the car so that’s not a factor in changing.
