Basically Im a newbie here and im looking for wheel ideas...

The tyres on my newly purchased car are close to the limit and wheels are god awful and curbed, so i will be looking to upgrade.

Im not in to chrome and all the "rapper bling" just want a nice plain Jane set with the Merc badge...

Any pics of what you guys have got on your motors?

In the nest week or so , i will be selling my staggered AMG's from my CLK430

17 inch , 7.5 on the front 8.5 on the rear.

You will need tyres for them , as they are newish and going on my new alloys.

The wheels are perfectly usuable , but they would need a refurb after the winter ( i wasn't going to bother until spring because of all the salt on the roads )

Better still , i am just down the road from you in Hampton Court.

£300

If you are keen , i will post up some pictures.

I'd try to stick with Merc originals.

IMO there's no quicker way to ruin a nice car than with naff aftermarket wheels.

Welcome to you.

They aren't naff.

They are genuine AMG wheels as fitted to W208 CLK's

Have look on Ebay I bought 4 2000 CLK 320 alloy wheels for £60. Not in the best condition but I wanted them for my winter tyres.

There are loads on there some in very good condition with new tyres for about £250. You will pay that for new tyres alone!

If you but on Ebay you will need to collect in most cases.

Standard CLK tyres are 205-55-16 on I think 7J wheeles.

Got them in my garage if you change your mind ;) just down the road too , no driving to outer mongolia to collect wheels in unknown condition from mad people.

I took them off my ML270CDI and replaced them with original MB alloys

Now, they are bling
