Own this GLE-400D new car from July 23 and only driven 3200miles. Had problems of battery dead twice in this month.
Once the car wasn't started for 6 days, battery is dead, used jump start and again battery is dead when car wasn't used for 2 days.
Pls. comment if anyone experiencing this.

Thanks Mancman for your reply. Went to the dealer they checked and can't find anything wrong, suggesting me I need to drive the car regularly

That's rubbish.
You can, I do, leave the car for over a week regularly when I am away and it starts on the button.

Don't let them charge you any diagnosis fee as it's within warranty.

Could be a duff battery, or there could be a drain in the system somewhere.

If in any doubt, reject the car.
Is it a Mercedes main dealer?

Welcome - it may be unrelated but there are a couple of threads on here about similar problems with GLCs

Your dealer is spinning you a yarn I think. I have regularly left my E400d for a week with no issues whatsoever.
Best advice although a bit of a pain is to keep a diary of all use and failures for a month then submit a complaint direct to MB UK with all the details and ask them to investigate and rectify - it is definitely not as it should be if flat in less than a week.

Seems like the dealer is trying to fob you off if they can’t cure the power drain from the battery reject the car, I’ve left my MB and BMW more than three weeks without a problem the only thing that does drain a battery is continual short runs ie, less than 2 miles numerous times a day over a period of weeks

I Have never had a flat battery in any of the 6 MB's I have owned. I have left them numerous times for 3 weeks without starting them.
As others have said back to MB tell them to sort it or reject it.

As above, the dealer is telling you fibs and doing their usual 2 finger salute verbally.

It could be a poor battery in the high case it should be changed for a new one and then see how it goes.

Also don’t forget the consumer rights act. Car traders/dealers feel this does not apply to them until a lawyer slaps them with it Any faults within 6 months are deemed to have been present when you bought it and it’s up to the dealer to put it right or prove otherwise! Trading standards are also an easy option and will support and guide you. Start logging every call and keep a receipt (even if they do work for which they don’t charge).

Hopefully a new battery solves your issue.
