Hi there,
weird one this. My 1985 2litre(carburettor model) was running fine until recently and now it seems to run intermittently on 3 cylinders. I have changed the plugs and the leads are recent but problem persists at all speeds - although changing plugs improved things slightly. The culprit cylinder is cylinder one nearest the front of the car. The spark seems fine so I now assume it must be a fuel problem. How could this only affect this cylinder? I adjusted valve clearances recently so no problems there.
I assumed it must be Carb trouble but it does this regardless of running on lpg or petrol.
Any ideas anyone as I am completely flumoxed! :?
Thanks
Paul
