You're welcome. I think the filters mission, beside fine filtering, is to optimize the fuel flow when entering distributor. To "streamline" turbulent flow in the line and thus optimize the fuel dividing internally in the distributor

Yes sorry just been back there to post 21 And believe me i have in nthe past i Googled this and Amazon also Everything benz, along with 10 other web site parts providers .And some say filter others say fuel devider . You see they do come with the filter and without I will go again and do another search for the part to go with the number you gave me. Thanks

This part number, replaces a number of older numbers and are used on all of theses engine series; Check uploaded screen shot from Daimler EPC.. (D103 = M103). It's called a fitting/fuel filter/divider. It has not only filter media inside but also a sort of plastic profile which "divides" the fuel flow, shaping the flow.

Just sent email to the Mercedes dealership to check if they have one in stock before i pop over there . And yes might be a good idea to pick up the copper washer thats if they are fitted .
