misfire in a w203

sorry lads to bring it up again ,but yesterday i got the news of my issues with car after a break down resulting in new starter

issues that came up where misfire in pot 3
and slipping gears in transmission

would any of these cause my car when its idle to seam like its being rev,
and shake while its idle ,only happens now and again
and woundered if its possible to do myself and try and get clued up abit on my cars and knowledge cause im hooked on this forum now after joining ,very helpful

not yet mark ,that usally wouldnt cause a misfire tho

hahaha, I know that, I was talking about your "slipping gears in transmission"

have you tried changing over coilpacks and leads ?

removed the maf tonite and when not on ran worse so maf ok ,cleaned and new air filters on ,checked htc leads and cleaned them and guess what it seams to be great ,,,,, cheers sam ,malcom and mark top site,,,and im over the moon i done it myself
