Hi, I have a ML164 350cdi 2011.
There is a an occasional problem with the gearbox going into safety mode, drive for a little bit, stop and it rets it self.
I have been told that this is a common fault with these 7 speed gearboxes.
It seems to need a new solenoid and have been told that the gearbox needs to come out to fit it.
Is this correct and approximately what is the cost for this?
