Can any one give me the e-mail address or the customer relations department for MB UK as a letter of complaint to my local MB dealership has fallen on deaf ears! (unable to identify faulty engine mounts!) Thanks.

do you want to give us a little more?
The MB Customer services number is on the MB web site along with their email address.
The dealer is a bit dumb if they can't recognise that the 270 suffers from engine mount issues. The ML is notorious for it and I've just had them done on my E class (under warranty) with great effect.

Is this SG Mercedes at SA1?

You got it!!, sent them a letter approx 3weeks ago and have hade no reply.
the ML went into them because the car sales i purchaced it from could not find the problem so agreed to put it into a main dealer, they said it was an exhaust mount but the vibration was still there after picking it up they could not give me any advice or a answer to the problem. So i purchaced the engine mount from them!! and had a independent garage to fit them, problem solved, I even mentioned the mount too them when i took it in!.

I would go in and talk with the service manager as he has been very straight with me over the years. When they have messed up he has been good at putting things right, you juts have to deal with him face to face. Letters and emails tend to get lost in the noise of a busy dealership.

I had this twice at a main dealer as my ML wasnt in a position where I could work on it. First time was during a service, they said there was nothing wrong with the mounts even though they were explicitly told to change them. Second time they replaced a suspension rubber claiming it to be broken and not performing the requested mount change (neither time was I involved, they tend to fob women off)!

Replaced them myself and as said by others, makes a great difference as you probably now know.

What Im suprised at is that it isnt in a service brief issued by DC to their dealers. The mounts compress to almost half their size and the central rubber vapourises (we are still out in arguments wether the central rubber is to protect the bolts or is a load bearing component)!

Excessive vibration throughout the vehicle is one, do a search, it has been covered in depth.
