ML270 how do i change the engine\transmission

Does anyone know the procedure to change the engine and gearbox in a ml270?

short answer for short question. unbolt every thing and lift out with engine crane. unless there was anything more specific?

ml270 engine gearbox change

Can anyone help with info on changing the engine and gearbox.
Where do I find the computer. what do I need to disconnect?

the wiring stays with the engine, just follow it to the connectors, eg in fuse box, and disconnect. removing the rad first is advised to avoid damage but can be left in on some vehicles. take care labeling pipes/wires etc and store bolts in boxes in small groups to make refitting easier. this is not really to bad a job with the equipment and experience but you do need an engine crane!!

Live in remote area of Australia No mercedes dealer here!
Has anyone jacked one of these babies up.
I recon she needs about a 2" rise.
