Merc,

There's an edit button you can use. I know 'cause I screw up all my postings too.

Merc, did you manage to get that 48V head to fit onto your E220? LOL.

I thought you said you were skint, doesn't using the internet cost you a mint.

I am only pulling you leg. Happy to hear from you.

Regards

David

Hi Matt,Tony,David S,David T

How have you all been doing too?,Iv'e been doing all sorts of dodgy things,'mmmm' wouldn't you all like to know (lol),yea I did get the "head" on the Merc (lol) na' only joking.
But I hope you all read my letter of deepest appology to the group, after my last escapade.
I'm now driving a BM 525 a 91' and also have a Saab 9000 2.3 also a 91' no Merc just now though, but I do regret getting rid of it.But Iv'e been saving dam hard, the BM mind you (in my opinion) drives just as good if not better than the Merc, but Im not taking anything from the Merc,no way!! they are both very well built cars.
I would like to try and get another one,(Merc that is) so if I can sell the BM ther will be another one,not sure which one mind you.
I'll keep the Saab because my mother is moving back here (Scotland) in a month or two for good and she only has a licence for an auto',so she can drive the Saab without taking another test.
I allready got an ins quote for her which knocked her socks off!,Do you know that where she is (New Jersey) even with 37 years of accident free driving over there, she is paying $1400 (1000ish) PA,I got her ins here for £295 full comp & RAC cover the lot,so she was well chuffed.
So thats the saga now,I do like the BM but there is somthing about the Merc that the BM just hasn't got, maybe it's something to do with pannache who know's!.
I know you guy's have replied to this, but there will still be many other's who wont, they will probably wish I would crawl back under the rock I came out of and die!!,But life's full of interesting people like me lol.
Well it's been nice from you again,I'll let you know what happens with the BM,see ya.

Regards
Stewart

Hi to all

And I'm apologising before I even start, for the way I acted/behaved before,I have "grown up" with my attitude now.
A few months ago I wrote that I had a BMW 525,well I suppose fate has a kind of weird twist to it,because I went to see I 500SE today, and it was old one I couldn't believe it.
It is a swap for the BMW,so I may be back in the world Mercedes, all the old magic came flooding back when I drove it.But I forgot to check both front door locks, because if memory serves me they were not working,I have to call in a later tonight to see if I want to swap.
I know I got the missfire sorted with new leads ect,so I really am very tempted, the only thing that really bothers me is if it still doesn't start right away when stopped for a couple minute's eg stopping for petrol, but apart from that well!!.
I know only Matt,Tony and a handfull of other's will possibly reply to this,I can only wish the rest would forgive, but I can't blame you if you won't.
But all I ask is if I do this "deal" could please get some have some help if needed,if not well I suppose there's nothing I can do/say to change your mind's.
Well thanks again to whoever reads this and makes any suggestion's.
