hi, I'm looking at buying another mercedes, previously owned a 190D and a 300se. thinking of buying a 300D (w124) this time, and have a couple of questions!
what are the differences between the earlier 300D >1990ish and the E300D 1990ish on? are they still the 6 cyl 3.0 engine? heard some 2.5 turbodiesels were badged 300D.
are there any more problems associated with the later models? ie more electrical components?

any help much appreciated!
