MOT again

Took the lump ( ml270) for MOT today, was pretty sure all running gear and lights ok, but thought it may well struggle with emmisions. I watched and tester did that bit twice, so was a bit concerned.
It has a plate which states 0.8, last year it hit 0.5. this year 0.13, so it's gone down !!!!!.
I did ask tester why he did it twice, and he said he thought he had made a mistake.
So, all good, no adviseries.
I also did not know that the towing socket is now part of the test, tester plugged a device into it.

I know a lot of old diesels fail these days so very happy, it's with us for another year.

If that bit fell off it's back up to 1.5, depending on age.

It's 3, I think for the OPs car. Post 2008 it's 1.5. Mine is usually tested at 3 although once was done at 1.5 and only just passed.

Yep, converted it to 13 pin last year as wife got a new horse trailer

Have to admit, early December I changed oil, cleaned out the oil catch can, and fitted a decent new air filter.
I also added a bottle of injector cleaner a couple of weeks back, don't know if that all helped but emmisions are good and low for vehicle.
