Can some one advice me on replacing a mercedes 190 year 1988 carburattor and maniful with 1990 one?
I bought a mercedes-benz 190,year1988 and shiped to African, a mechanic friend adviced me that the carburattor has got electrical parts and i should replace it with the one that has no electrical part including maniful probably a 1990 one and that he can do the conversion and it will last me for ages.He said this type of carburattors has a big problems in Africa but am reluctant to do so.At the moment it misfires am sure it needs new plugs,i have asked my wife to park the car until i return.
