Hi everybody, just signing on as a new MB driver. Bought a 1992 230te (Red) end of Jan this year. The word TANK comes to mind, although a Tank may not be quite as thirsty! I've been reading the forum threads and have learned quite a lot. The first thing I did (after filling up with petrol) was replace all the fuses, whoever suggested it, thanks, they were ready. Oh! congratulations Malcolm on reaching 20,000!!

Post some pictures when you can.

Hi,
a 230E Manual drives easy with 28MPG. Everything way above means problems with the KE or the injectors need replacing. If you want to save fuel a small french car is maybe the better choice. But you still have the option for a gas conversion.

Have fun with your tank and all the best,
Oli
