!!! I have an 04 E320 CDI and have been enjoying using the sat nav (except when it take s you the long way!). At the weekend i tried using it again and all i got was a the following message displayed on the command screen, 'Navigation Device Unavailable'

I have looked at the disc reader in the back and pressed eject numerous times with different amounts of pressure on the eject button  but the disc doesn't even come out. Then i thought may be somone has nicked it so i tried putting another disk in it but it would not go in!!

Anyone with any ideas? Is there an overide button or pin hole to eject the cd? Can it be un plugged or re-booted?

All help greatly appreciated!! :p

The fuse list is often in with the tool kit or folded inside one of the boxes. You have 4 fuse boxes on that car at least

The fuse diagram is tucked away in the fusebox at end of the dashboard, hard to see as well. Open the door and pull the panel off the end of the dashboard that sits flush to the door when closed. You have to give it a firm tug and it distorts a lot before popping off, making you think you should stop pulling!!!

As you look at the bank of fuses/relays to the LHS neatly folded and in a little holder is the fuse diagram (it measures about 2.5" x1" and is vertical and you are looking at the thin folded edge, hence hard to see). If you want me to check the fuse mine is in the car here at work

Be nice if your car is the same build year, there are many changes in the fuse box layouts

No, fuses immediately visible once panel off.

Daft question maybe but it is a RHD car and you're taking the drivers end panel off?

So that we speak the same language I try to refer things to passenger side and drivers side, and this takes away the LHD / RHD mix ups

Right i'm starting to get annoyed now!!!!!!!!!!

I have taken off the passenger side pannel for the end of the dash and there are no fuses there. There is a black plastic moulding with nothing behind it! If i get a chance later i'm gonna un bolt the sat nav reader and pull the plugs and put them back in unless anyone else has any ideas!!

You have 7 fuse boxes on your car

F28 is the one for the navigation rated at 30 amp, it is in the fuse compartment drivers side
