It is not very often that i post for myself . Story goes,, its time for me to replace my brake fluid . And i think the best way forward for me ,,is to purchase a set of caliper Speed Blead Nipples . For those who dont know what these are they will replace the normal blead nipples to make the bleading of the brake system easy for one person to do on his own . I found a set, but need to make sure the size of the blead nipples are right . So is there anyone on the forum able to verify the correct size please .

Yes but i have more than my share . And i am my own enemy .. Just been on to Stahlbus bleed valve site ..All information i can find is all the W124 are M8X1.25 with a part number SB110313 that includes 4 bleed valves . But i can find no information on the rears its all front sizes .So i sent an email to make double sure ...

Check out brakeparts or big red, they should list bleed nipples for your calliper.

I been purchasing parts over the winter to do jobs on the car i have 4 out standing job now ..Thes bleeders will make 5 . Manifolds coming off for sand blasting so then i can replace the studs and holding nuts for new ones . Auto box service , all the bits in the garage . New fuel pumps to be fitted those are Bosch ..Replace the hydraulic tappets ..So i will have lots to do soon ....

Stahlbus sent me an email yesterday to say ,,they would not advise me to use their M8X1.25 20mm on the rear calipers . And they said ok to use them in the fronts only, and they have no information to say they can be used in the rear calipers .. They did say it would be best to have longer bleed nipples than 20mm . The attachment i posted above of the fitting list is not any good Stahlbus say is old information. Well thats no good,, its all or nothing ,,,what a company . . The best i can do is to pick up a set of old ones and check the sizes of them. The length of the thread on the base is the main size i need including the cone mmmkk.jpg .
