New E250cdi arriving

Hi all, ive got a new E250cdi AG auto arriving this week, and wondered if anyone has one and what its like to drive/ foibles etc,. Im also trying to sell my E280cdi Sport 57 plate, but getting stupid offers, its got 85000, full history, lovely condition, wondered what its worth?...thanks:lol:

There seem to be quite a few cars like your E280cdi for sale for about £9,000 which is rather frightening. I will be interested to hear in what areas you find the 250cdi is an improvement, apart from fuel economy.

Paul I got £7k approx for a saloon similar to yours but a 320. I doubt you'll get more than £8500 for it.

Well, the new one has arrived, and it seems more solid than the 211, however i still think my old one has less road noise. The 250 though flies along, a bit gruffer than the silky v6 but once warm and rolling its just as quiet. All in all a lovely car and i can see the true mpg once on the motorway next week.

Also, it seems smaller than the 211......might be me though, getting fatter

I found the 212 to be more spacious as a saloon to my 211 saloon. The 212 was a lot nicer to drive and more modern feeling.

I found to be comfortable the wheel cut off most of the speedo and the seats weren't as supportive of my legs as the 211 but what a lovely car to drive abd much better riding.

I agree Steve...don't have a problem with the wheel, also noticed its got the 3 spoke sport wheel even though its the AG...
