New GLB AMG Line LED headlights problem

Hi all ,just joined. Owned 3 previous Mercedes over the years, just bought a new GLB 2 weeks ago. I find the dipped beam really poor, on the country roads they are just too short for safe driving when I can’t have full beam on when other vehicles near by.

Garage say all correct, but I really feel they are very poor, felt extremely unsafe in rain last week. Anyone heard of problems with GLB lights. Don’t have premium upgraded light package unfortunately! Would welcome feedback.

Can you adjust the headlights up and down at all from the switch?

I drove 200+ miles in the dark yesterday with my standard halogen headlights and didn’t have any visibility issues. Standard (legal) upgrade is to fit nightbreaker bulbs

Thanks for reply. Unfortunately only has that manual adjustment with halogen headlights, AMGLine model has LED headlights which on my previous cars, not just Mercedes, have been great but these just stop dead far too short. Guess this is why the premium pack upgrades them.
Just really disappointing, my wife has LEDs on her Toyota and they are great, expected Mercedes to at least match. Going to try some weight in the rear to see what that does

Not that it helps fix your issue, but I had an A Class courtesy car this week with the base LED headlamps and they had decent range on dipped beam all be it with a less sharp cutoff than the E Class, so it may well indicate yours are not as they should be.

if you are going back from LED to Halogen - there is no fix it will just seem like they are switched off

These are LED, just not as good LED as on previous cars unfortunately
