Hi there,
New member here. Have a 2012 (W212) E63 5.5 which I have owned for around 2.5 years. Love the car, however the aftermarket wheels which the previous owner had fitted are buckled and needing to replace. Anyone know a good place to find stock staggered 19"s for this car? I think it may have been the twin seven spokes that were stock on this one?

Thanks
Graeme

Not sure where best to get a new set of staggered alloys but your right in thinking they were the twin 7 spoke design fitted originally

Hi and welcome Graeme
Where you been, where are you, where are the pictures?
That's got that out the way!
The M157 in those is a peach, been lucky enough to have had one recently....have you had any 'adjustments' done?
If it's stock alloys you need/want then it's MB which ain't cheap. That said I'd try MB Grangemouth 01324 696002 Neil Young, tell them you are a forum member for discount and cheap shipping cost.
Otherwise it's ebay to see if you can get lucky...:)

try emailing the picture to yourself first then downsizing when prompted? Save that and 'upload a file' to your message. You can also then save it as an avatar ....

Ha, yes cracking engine no mods. Wanted the V8 for 12 months, and to get that off the bucket list. 2.5 years later, still got it, great big comfy car to drive with astonishing power:geek:.
I'm only doing around 4-5000m/yr just really light use as have the wife's discovery and a campervan to fallback on when the fuel bills are choking me:(:):D.
Ive heard good things about MB Grangemouth, I might give them a call for my service, due an A just now so will probably try them. Merc Edinburgh (Newbridge) tried it on with me last year when I used them for service, not likely to return....

Thanks for the replies and the welcome!

One last thing, prob not the right place, if you can point me to the right place Id be delighted, but any good tips on brake discs for this, being quoted £850 to £1k:shock::shock::shock::shock:

Nice one! I had a stage 1 from MSL Birmingham, dyno there showed 684 bhp on a very hot day, subsequent cooler day 704. Rocket ship!
Discs, the forum get discount again from MB Grangemouth (I have a print out with the discs @30%), the total for fronts and rears totalled £586. That was in 2017 mind.....I've heard their service is decent
Sadly there doesn't appear to be many good rated independents Edinburgh way (couple in weegie land)..
Oh and I can see why you want the wheels changed (no disrespect intended)

Oooft, 704bhp, cant imagine the kick in the back that would give you.
Hahaha, yes these wheels were fitted by previous owner...not my choice either. I will give Grangemouth a shout for my A service and see if they can do me something on the brakes. Around that price I'll get them done.

Hi Graeme and welcome. I’m not surprised those wheels have buckled. What have they done to your fillings?

Welcome to the forum Graeme. Have the same model and agree, they are a real rocketship even without a remap.
I'm biased, but I like the OEM black alloys with silver lip fitted to mine below. 20200403_174902.jpg

Should have said, the brake parts price was just parts, I fitted them myself (well pads just I didn't need the discs yet), they will charge north of £130 an hour labour I'd imagine....

John, youve piqued my intrerest with that remap chat yesterday:D. With the extra torque from your remap, is it still decent to drive around town or really ferocious? what does that setup do to economy to? Strangle it further?
