Hi all,

I'm new to the forum, though not to Mercs having just traded in my W210 E240 for a '03 C270 CDI. Hope you can help with my queries....

First job is to fit a set of aftermarket rear parking sensors, is it possible to take off the panel, where the parktronic sensors are usually fitted, in the rear bumper without taking off the bumper and how? If not, how do I remove the bumper.

Secondly I was not supplied with a radio code (the Merc specialist who sold me the car is looking into it) but is there a way to trace the code, preferably without going to a main dealer. I'm fitting a Parrot CK3000 Evolution bluetooth handsfree with steering wheel control interface, so obviously this is something I'm going to need!

Thanks
Ron

hello Ron and welcome to the forum, Your radio should not need a code as these were dispensed with around 2000.

These are the two pictures of your bumpers, cant be sure how the strips are held on.

Thanks Malcolm. I'll stop worrying about the key code then!

Those covers look like they'd lever off almost, though I'm reluctant to introduce a screwdriver into the equation..........

Well if there were any clips they would be shown, and there are none.

I can look this up on my main computer later.
