Hi,

Is there anyone out that there that can guide me through removing the heads on my 560 SEC, changing the timing chain, rails, guides and anything else that I should do at 160,000 mi.
I will send out the heads to a shop to do the valves and reseat the heads and then I will replace the top motor.
I have done various motors but not a M/B.
Is it a difficult job or just time consuming?
I just rebuilt the whole steering, shocks, rotors and pads.

Thanks
Jack

why? is it rattling like a bastid? if not - leave it alone - mines on 170k miles and ok...

if you insist - then i have the genuine manual on cd (or you can buy it yourself on ebay for a tenner - its the "wis" and comes on 5 CDs...)

Top Overhaul 560 SEC

I am considering a top overhaul for my 420SE. I can offer you a copy of the appropiate MB maintenance CD. Be warned, it assumes that the reader has been exposed to an MB maintenance course and acts as a promter to memory.

Give me a ring Canberra 02 62918063.
