hi everyone,as the proud new owner of a 300CEcoupe,1989 I just wondered where to look for stats on this model and what common faults are found on it,cheers

Nice car and welcome, I think it is best that you run the car and see how it goes, rather than think about faults, maybe you will get some, maybe you wont. I would always rather start off with new engine oil and a filter. Make sure that everything else is topped up, check disc pads, etc.

Thanks for the reply's guys,after using it for a week i've noticed tickover is a bit lumpy,not good when its an auto,i also did 170 miles on 30 pounds of petrol which i think is very good for a 3 ltr car.also can't notice any difference between E and S on the auto box,any ideas welcome,cheers wayne.

The E and S on the gear box relates to the gear that it starts in, in E economy, the cars moves away in second, on S it is a first gear start. one nice thing with that car is that you can be driving around in economy,if you kick the throtle right down, it will take off like a bat from hell
