Newbie, both to Forum and Mercedes.

I am thinking very hard about selling my Mondial t and buying a CLK 55 AMG with a 53 plate.

I serched the Forum and came up with only one potential problem, that being rust.

Are you aware of any other problems that are endemic to this model?

Where does the rust first appear?

I would be very grateful for your assistance.

Hello and welcome, with a 53 plate you will not have any real problems with rust,,early cars suffered around the wheel arches and boot locks. 04-04 was the start of the new Nano paint.
