Hi all , my name is Shane, I'm 38 and have been a mercoholic for roughly 3 weeks now . I've gone c class crazy over night ! First thing I do in the morning and last thing at night is search the internet for a c class , Ive literally fallen in love with them ! and from what I've been reading I have every right too ! Ive never owned an "upper class" car , always played it safe with a Ford or vauxhall so also never experienced a rear wheel drive car except having the pleasure of ragging an old sierra cossie round a dirt track .
I am very particular about cars and can be some what picky but all i know right now is I want a c class and I want one now !!!! But am struggling slightly as I'm a little restricted .
So .... the finance company I'm going with states that .....
1. Vehicle cannot be more than 8 years old (so 2013 onwards)
2. Has to be under 100k miles
3. Cannot be a cat C or N
And
4. I believe I have to buy from a business .
My budget allows me to spend upto a maximum of 9k .
It has to be a diesel.
Saloon/estate
DEFINITELY black
But maybe red , maybe silver , maybe white.
(this is where the show me yours comes into affect)
Leaning more towards a black saloon.
I've been looking at the 220 , 250 and 350.
I REALLY want the 350 but not only am i finding it difficult to even find one but also within my budget , my particular taste and finance co restrictions . I've found a fair few 220 and 250's but it just won't do , i want a 350 haha .
Obviously the lower the mileage the better and needs to have at minimal part service history . Distance from ss2 isn't really too much a problem either . Any info regarding things to look out for when buying would also be a huge help .
