Hi new to the Merc game this is my first one, quite high spec 2017 AMG Premium Plus. Had the car for 10 months got if from Mercedes in Leeds and turbo needs replacing car has less than 20,000 miles got it on PCP and although the work is covered under warranty, still fuming and thinking about rejecting it as not fit for purpose. Anyway sorry for the rant, thanks for the welcome.

I put 48k on my E220d without issue, I’d see what Leeds MB say

Oh one thing I forgot to mention, Huddersfield Mercedes is where the work is being done as its local to me, they said they've ordered the parts required but they will take at least a week to arrive, not sure if I should be asking why, will the parts come from abroad (Germany) ?

Leeds and Huddersfield are both Stratstone group. The turbo will be coming from Germany as there’s probably no UK stock. Germany is where the car was made.

With having owned it 10 months your chances of rejecting the car are slim at best as you would need to prove the fault was there at purchase.
The motor ombudsman website explains it quite clearly.

Thanks I always have periods where I drive the car with no music on, I listen for any strange noises, glad I did this otherwise I may not have heard the noise coming from the engine

Things do fail on cars, esp if its a friday afternoon build, be glad its caught early and fixed with no expense to you and you get warranty, if it goes wrong again.
