Hi All,

I have a 1995 E220 CE(auto). I only have it a few months, its my first MB as I was hoping for some advice. I'm extremely happy with the car and have had it serviced as soon as I got it but there's one or two things:

1.) When cold it will cut out basically 50% of the time generally once when I stick in reverse and apply accelerator. As soon as I am moving though there's no problem. Doesn't really bother me but is there anything I can do to avoid?

2.) The centre air vents are stuck on open (twister pushed in out of place, cannot pull it back out) and blow cold air only. Again this doesn't really bother me but if I could get it closed then that would be great.

3). There's a sqeeking noise everyting I go over a ramp/ bump. Anti-roll bar buses/ ball joint? When I wash the car (wheel arches etc.) or it wet weather then the noise disappears?

Thanks a million in advance!

For points 1 and 2, you do have a vacuam system, check all pipes and unions for fit and leakage.
