hi all, considering the purchase of a c class estate, will be a 2005/2004 model

whats the diference between a c200 and a c220 diesel.

i assume they both have the same engine.

Yes it the same engine just mapped differently, the 220 does give that bit more fun

Avoid the 200, gutless thing. The 220cdi is fine. I'd also consider a 270cdi C class. Its just as economical (if not more so on a gentle run), a bit more refined and a fair bit faster.

I was taken out in one in a taxi and the fella was giving it stick and it never seemed to move along that briskly, it certainly didn't give the impression that it would be capable of 140mph, if it can then its a faster car than mine :Oops:

Not posting it again, but Malcs seen a photo i took when it did reach that speed, i wasnt driving it. mate of mine was!

Woops, my bad. So used to typing 220cdi as thats what I am in.

I doubt mine would go that fast, reckon by 135mph outta puff.

I know that you are quite skinny, but the amount that you eat could be the reason:lol:
