I have to admit that I regret selling my 1989 500SL last year - I have missed her ever since, and now find myself with a VW Golf, and a garage that's empty of anything special.
I have toyed with the thought of an R129, but I don't think I like them as much - not just because of the risk of something that goes wrong may bankrupt me, but I still prefer the older shape. Also the R129s seem to still be shedding value, but the R107s don't.
Oh, also I'm getting married next year - so I'm damn sure this is my last chance for a few years to spend my own money, while I have some!
Does anyone want to sell their 500SL to me, or know of a decent one knocking around? I don't want a leakt, rusty, unloved one - I really want my old one back!
Help, time is running out for me...
(or if you have any other recommendations on what to buy I'll listen!)
