Hello! I have a 2018 e220d 65k miles on the clock and the engine management light appeared whilst diving yesterday. I continued my journey for about 100 miles and the car continued to drive "normal".

I hooked the car up to a friend's computer and got the following results shown in picture. Are both errors related to a nox sensor? Or something worse?

Thanks for your input guys.

That's a stored fault. Note all info, clear fault see if it returns straight away. Does look like nox sensor. Fairly std headache today I am afraid.

Quick search brought this up do more. And then check are related connections before biting that kind of bullet.
Others will be along

Thank you. Any idea if the nox sensors from ebay actually work? Seem to be quite cheap on there but probably reason for that?

I wud check around and ask as you hav on here. I wud be reluctant to go to benz biggest issue, I don't think they are plug and play. Bein honest wait other advise. I am fairly sure a new benz nox sensor, more likely pairs will involve a software update and that has its own ramifications someone will, botus, Blobcat ect be along.

A well trod path that, try to research the subject on here in the search option. "nox sensors" "adblue issues" you will become wiser. I take it you have fault codes read? If so enter those codes I Google as " mercedes fault code xxxxx."

Hi all, I have an EML just lit up on the W212 and Icarsoft error code is P229F62 "NOx sensor 2 (bank 1) has a malfunction The signal comparison is faulty".

My local Indy has tried, without lasting success, to get it to relearn and says we now have to change the sensor.

So, as I am about to enter the NOX sensor merrygoround, I wonder if anyone can tell me please how many sensors there are on my four cylinder diesel? Is it two per cylinder and therefore if I change one I can expect another seven to fail at some stage? Or is it just two for the entire system?

Apologies if this has been asked before but I couldn't find the answer.

Thanks
