Oil AGAIN

i have a merc 230ce 96k mileage, due for service, which oil should i use, mineral, zetec or semi synthetic??

It's up to you of course, but if you want the best protection currently available then fully synthetic is the way to go. There is stacks of information on this subject, do a search of 'Oilmans' postings.

What kind of oil is "Zetec", I thought that was a Ford name .

Fully synth is the best protector BUT may start/make worse oil leaks because of its cleansing capabilities. Not funny if its the rear crankshaft seal (ask me how I know...).
