Have an E320 (210 model) with oil in the gearbox ECU.
ECU being cleaned, new loom coming, breather cleaned & pressures being checked when all together.
My question is,have I got this covered or is there something else to be checked/done?
Thanks.

When I had the ATF changed in my W210 there was some oil in the gearbox ECU, it was just cleaned and a new seal fitted and all was well afterwards.

As Blobcat really.
You don't mention having the electrical connector plug seal replaced. As its this that's caused the issue I assume its first on the list?
I'm not aware of this being caused by a breather issue - just a dodgy seal. Many of us have had it replaced as a precaution during the ATF change.

As the two posts above.. and the loom doesnt need to be replaced, just clean the connections well..especially the ecu connection with switch cleaner and all will be well.. The ecu will probably need resetting on a star diagnostic..
