OM651 diesel engine

My om6521 has done 130000 and is running fine although it's not a stop start engine. Never seen the point in those myself.

stop start disabled at every start. i dont know about the 50k miles before it became mine....

That`s the information we need, how many cars reach that mileage when stop/start is in regular use, need to be honest here. If this technology is trashing engines buyers need to know. Manufactures won`t inform us as it might undermine their fictitious emission figures. Here in the UK we cannot even trace the previous owner of the car if it is purchased from main dealers.

150,000 on my OM651 engine, no stop start technology in my van. no rattles as yet

this will be interestin... i happen to believe that stop start is just bxxxxxxs thats going to cost us. but dont expect all to share this view.
