All fixed. The bearing on the old pump was shot, loads of play. Car could probably do with a coolant flush now tho..

Keep an eye on it. My experiences with Circoli have not been great...

It was just the front part with the pulley, not the whole unit with the pipes. The bearing failed on my old one, so I’ve fixed the problem.

Keep an eye on it. My experiences with Circoli have not been great...

The Mrs has a Circoli pump on her Astra, been ok so far.
It is literally just the front half of the housing with the pulley, not the whole unit.
It was the bearing that failed on mine, so I’ve replaced the faulty item.

Mercs have modified the replacement pump, the housing has been changed from plastic to metal for some reason. I think it cracks as it gets brittle.
The replacement pump maybe good, but the housing might be the weak point now.

Yea I see that on some of the YouTube videos. The housing on mine is ok for the time being. I’ve fixed the leak, maybe cheaply for now, but if the housing fails then I’ll deal with that when it happens.
I need the car running as I use it every day. ECP had one in stock so snapped it up so I could get the job done ASAP..
