Do you have a guard plate underneath the engine?

Sounds like you might have excessive pressure building up in cooling system. Have a look at pressure cap. A jammed thermostat might be an issue but uncommon. Was the second hose a new one or old?

i also suspect excessive pressure, i got the second hose from my old c180 w203, i got a new hose and it has not bursted yet. I also had to remove the thermostat because it was not working anymore. Some mechanic suspected that i have a blown head gasket and i dont know if that could be true

A blown head gasket could quickly pressurise the cooling system but the pressure cap should release that excess pressure, along with some coolant probably. Get the system checked. A decent garage can diagnose a blown gasket.
