Hi all,
Next on the to do list of addressing little annoying things, parking brake mechanism releases with the pedal not fully coming up so it a) feels loose once released and b) lights the red light on the dash. Happens more so when cold, once warmed up if it's helped up it will clear and stay just high enough not to activate the light.
Now I know there is some PITA way of adjusting the handbrake at each wheel but I don't think I need to do this as the handbrake workls perfectly and holds the car on a very steep hill and releases fine
Is there a seperate mechanism somewhere for the pedal. I remember asking here and trying to take the pedal off/see the pedal mechanism but what's on the car looked nothign like what was posted up here and I can't find any screw to turn/way to adjust it (or even remove it) from the car.
If there's no trick I'll simply attach a biro spring to the top of the pedal lever and attach the other end to something above...but be good to know if there's somethign easy I can do to fix it.
