Hello all
I've just been out on this lovely day and now can't wind up the passenger front window on my w124 230 ce!
It is just dead. All the other windows work fine.
The fuse is good.
I have taken out the switch and swapped it for the other front and it still didn't work.
I have cleaned up the terminals (clean anyway) on the door.
I have reversed them to see if the motor would go up. No movement at all.
When I put on the switch I do hear a sound like a relay cutting in under the back seat.
Has anyone any ideas.
Thanks
dave

It could be the carbon brushes in the motor, give it a whack,if it works you can take it out and clean it

2001 240 C ...need help!

Just yesterday my back driver's side window came off the track and won't go back up after we hit a pothole! I can hear the motor winding up and down, but the glass is just sitting there on the bottom.

Is there a way to pull the glass up and just let it plop back down on the track, or do I have to take the whole panel off, and if I do that...what about side air bags?

PLEASE HELP!

thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

your other post is answered, unless you have 2 windows off ;):D
