Hi, I have got a 1999 c240.
I went to tescos come out and now it will not start :(
I have no spark at the plugs any ideas what it could be ?

Where are they on the v6?
I couldnt find one on the front pully.

I will check on any other fuses but the CPS can fail and stay open circuit,,you can measure it on a ohmmeter where it should measure just under 1k ohm

You will have to change that CPS £47 from Bosch service centers, or £80 from MB

I know it doesn't help very much, but some supermarkets have cover if you break down in their car park ... just ask at customer service and they will have the RAC or whoever come and take you away ....

It's be worth disconnecting the MAF (assuming your car has one) and trying again. Call out the AA / RAC and suggest they try this

I called the AA out they didnt know What to do with the car, He said just take it to the garage.
Thats why I came on here where people know what they are talking about.

Hello Ed, had the same thing on my 2001 SLK320, fitted a new Crankshaft Position Sensor. I got mine from a MB Dealer, expensive but not had any problems since !! Regards Damian. :)
