Dear All
I have a 2000 W215 CL500 that for all intents and purposes is fine. However, when I switch off traction control and press the accelerator to the floor, the car does not accelerate particularly quickly and the acceleration is very juddery. Any ideas what the problem could be?

I don't think that you can disable the traction control, only the stability system.

You're probably causing wheel spin and the traction control is cutting in.
