Yes - two counts. One, it will get rid of stuff you cannot see (but will later) and two, the shampoo gets rid of old proofer which is essential
Manufacturer name matching doesn’t matter .Might buy some Renovo cleaner then, and then apply the Fabsil proofer, or is it best to have the cleaner and proofer by the same manufacturer? I see that Fabsil also do a cleaner, but made for tents etc instead of cars.

In the picture it’s blue .I'm trying to think whether my CLK240 has a black roof, or blue? The car is currently at the audio specialist getting reversing sensors, camera and stereo fitted so I will have to look when we collect it. Does the cars VIN help clarify this?
In other news, just come across an old thread for MB (Mercedes Benz?) top cleaner..
Soft-top MB waterproofing kit
I saw a post elsewhere where television recommended this for an R129 SL. What does the kit consist of, how is it applied and how frequently should it be applied? I'm eagerly awaiting spring so it would make sense to get a kit in readiness for the panoramic to be hoisted up to the garage...forums.mercedesclub.org.uk
