:wink:not a lot to update at the moment - 0nly pics of engine mounting brackets and cross member - cross member had to be cut and re-inforced so that the engine would fit. Hope to be fitting the engine sometime over Easter.

Thank you Malcom yes good idea as i did not get round to talking to many people at the meet as my brother inlaw turned up out of the blue as we went to leave the bungalow.

Hi there, obviously there is a previous thread outlining the car and engine conversion, could you attach this so I can catch up as I missed any previous threads?

Hi Paul

i don'tknow how to attach other thread - but it is a 1992 SL Petrol 300 24 valve which i am replacing with a 1990 250 diesel engine . The original thread was petrol engine out diesel engine in - in november or december -you can find in search.

Will put on more information when -hopefully the task is completed.
