Update - paid the £100 for a new part which turned out to be slightly different to the old (not working)one
New needed a M8 nut whereas old was fitted with an M8 security bolt.
Body was different but connection the same
Was actually inside a metal box inside the wing
Fiddly job but all done and working now so as well as the beep on lock/unlock I have a working siren when alarm is triggered
